They are selling tomorrow 'Gun Tags' which are stick-on camo for airsoft guns,
Now do you see a problem here:

Did you read their warning?

Unfortunately you can't tear them down too much for it.

Spray paint is readily available to do the same, plus numerous other things. Many cars you can buy can go well over the speed limit. The capability doesn't mean anything.

Having said that I wouldn't be surprised if they got in some trouble about it.

Tbh, I don't see the point on even going on their site...
Anyway, its like dev says, spray paint and camo tape is already regularly available.
Btw, shouldn't that be ok anyway, it looks 50/50 to me, or does it have to be blocks of colour?

TBH its still a bright colour, and you can buy toy guns that look like that in shops, so no issues with it at all.

If you can buy this
http://www.ebay.co.u...=item19ca8094ce

then there is no issue with an orange tiger stripped g36, if they get popular enough I am sure we will see one in then next COD series :)

they are not breaking the law selling stickers it would be the person buying and useing them without a defence so the website is fine.

iirc it has to be in block form and i dont think you could get away with it like you can put tape on a gun because its not really something you could put on and remove quickly.

TBH its still a bright colour, and you can buy toy guns that look like that in shops, so no issues with it at all.

i might be wrong but im sure the vcra only applies to guns that are of realistic size and most child toy guns i have ever seen are half the size which is why they can be sold like that

chances are you would get away with having it no problems however it is still breaking the law at teh end of the day

I'm pretty sure the bright colour has to be in blocks. It could probably get confused as camo otherwise and therefore a RIF.

Is a red tipped, or camo painted gun legal to import as an IF?
No to class as an IF a gun must be 51% government approved bright colour or clear see through plastic.
Accepted bright colours are:
- Bright red
- Bright orange
- Bright yellow
- Bright green
- Bright pink
- Bright purple

Taken from UKARA QnA page, nowt about colour blocks either there or the VCRA act, which I hav just ploughed through

But you can see that they are clearly marketing the product to the U18 users that buy of the site, Its not the selling of it but who they are trying to sell it to.

They may be marketing at u18, however their front page clearly states that they will not sell to under 18 and have safety info at the bottom of the page

What you copied there bigshep includes the words 'camo painted' although the camo might be bright, it's still camo.

Just my opinion.

Depends what is classified by camo, and something which would require a court case to prove. My definition of camo would be something which is created to look like a real gun and also painted that way, so black, desert, olive, urban, woodland or even jack pike camo for example. Whereas the bright orange with black stripes still does not look like a real gun from a distance. A rif is also defined as something which cannot be distinguished from a real weapon from a distance by an untrained eye or without close inspection to prove otherwise.

But until a court case takes place to prove otherwise then the bright orange and black stripped camo is still ok to be purchased by an over 18 person with no valid defence to own a rif, as long as 51% is the bright colour.

http://i149.photobuc...er/IMG_0267.jpg looks like a gun, unlike the jbbg one, but is camoed

as is this

http://www.coupdegra...1/mk4620113.jpg

(pictures taken from arniesairsoft forum camo thread for use here as examples)

however Mr Plod would still treat a lot of bright guns as real if brandished in public, or used in a threatning way

I agree with that, I just think the courts would be a bit funny against not having blocks of colour. It's more about the pattern than the colours which might put them off, as the patterns could be similar to actual ones. It doesn't really bother me how they're classed as I don't plan on buying so I shall say no more!

If if there was more colors I would think about getting some for my G36, Some nice camo stripes would be good
